Training camp is in full swing right now.
If there’s one thing I’m reminded of every year, it’s this:
It takes a lot of people to make this machine run.
The cold water ready at the break.
The clean uniforms.
The meals.
The film.
The PR.
The person who picked up the cone before you tripped.
It’s easy to take it all for granted, especially when you’re locked in.
But I’ve learned something over time:
Don’t just feel appreciation. Show it.
Let people know.
Say thank you. Make eye contact.
Say it again.
Let them feel seen.
That energy comes back to you.
And even if it doesn’t?
You still walk lighter knowing you led with respect.
So today, whatever grind you’re in, take a moment to say it.
Let people know.
